Song Mi Ryoung graduated from the Ewha Woman's University, majoring in philosophy in 1980. In 1994 she graduated with a Bacholar's in Fine Art from the Dankook University, majoring in Ceramic Art. In 2004 she graduated from the Seoul National University of Technology with a major in Ceramic Art. She lives in Seoul.
