Re: Ghost town forum....

Sure, why not, HM?

I think Firesides can often lead to One on One Conversations later on, so they are synergistic and not necessarily mutually exclusive! richard

Re: Ghost town forum....

I too opt for the one-on-one conversation. I don't feel comfortable in "structured" situations outside of firesides, and if I don't feel comfortable, I find I can't express myself properly and fear missing anything important. HM Well then, HM, It only seems fair that you can change your o...

Re: seekers forum ... maturity of site

Hi Peter, The best way to begin is to ask a question. Any question. Then we may know where your points of interest are. It would also be good to know how much you already know instead of someone just repeating your knowledge back to you. By this I mean, Do you need to know who Baha'u'llah was? The ...

Hi Richard, Not completely "ghosted" out to be sure. Do you think we are we complacent, apathetic, or just few in numbers, or all three? Probably a small dose of the three, there are a ton of good threads on this forum that demand more in-depth answers than can be punched out in few keyst...

Re: It's been far too long.

Hello Richard and all, Zazaban's quote was part of his (?) "sig" or signature. It can show up on every post he makes (that's why it has a line separating it from the rest of the post). These sigs are really more intended to give people food for thought, make a joke, etc., though of course...

Re: Kingship - The Shadow of God on Earth

Allah-u-abha Friends! I have been thinking about the issue of Kingship in the Baha'i writings. This is for me one of the hardest teachings of Baha'u'llah to accept, as I am an American through and through. I think this teaching gets largely ignored by Baha'is, since we are probably all rather uncom...

http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/Default.pl?id=25373 It's always interesting to me when I find mention of the Faith in news articles (as brief as this one may be). Hi Bruce, Thanks for the good news in a world of too much bad news. It is surely great news for Viet Nam, as well as the Bahai Faith.
