Re: tattoo my body with bahai symbols?

Good post, Bruce! If I'm not wrong, the Greatest Name should also not be used as profile pictures on social networking websites (someone shared with me a reference to that which I don't have right now). I think that, along with what you wrote, stresses the importance of showing reverence in what we ...

Re: tattoo my body with bahai symbols?

Some ideas humbly offered to think about before making such a decision. Dignity and moderation should always be kept in mind, as previously stated. We should also remember that since our ultimate goal is teaching and attracting men to the Cause of God, we should try to keep our images in such a way ...

Re: WHy a Messenger after Muhammad?

Just because Muhammad is the last Prophet, that doesn't mean He is the last Manifestation of God or the last of His Chosen Ones. After the Seal of the Prophets verse, as Bahá'u'lláh indicates in His Writings, there is a prophesy of attaining the presence of God. Since no man can literally see God, t...

Re: Bahá'í Religion

There was a post online which had nearly 400 comments. I read from some people who have been Bahai, but left the religion as they were homosexual and didn't want to be a hypocrite. Another person was homosexual and still a pracitising Bahai, but believed that the religion contradicts itself in plac...

The author of http://www.bahaiawareness.com, who has posted on this site, is no doubt hell-bent on discrediting the Baha'i Faith, and I'm sure if he's here he will admit to it. Hey, God gave us free will. We can spend our energies and resources attacking His Faith, or supporting it. "They schem...

It's an interesting argument, that Messengership has not ended with Muhammad, one that is made by Muhammad Mustafa in Baha'u'llah: The Great Announcement of the Qur'an : O children of Adam! there shall come to you Apostles from among yourselves, rehearsing my signs to you; and who so shall fear God ...

Urantia

Hey Richard, About the subject of the Urantia book, I meant no offense, really. If you see wisdom in those words, then hey, that's good—whatever floats your boat. Indeed, people like Gandhi or the Dali Lama say good and wise things, and even though I personally might not find their writings to be my...

Just eat a lot of fats and proteins. Those will keep you full for the longest because they pass through the GI tract a lot more slowly than carbs. In fact, if you are concerned that you'll feel hungry for a large part of the day, after your meal in the morning take two or three tablespoon of cod liv...

It doesn't seem quite right that you would be willing to have a girlfriend who is a Bahai, but try to coerce her into becoming a Muslim. Very true. :-k Secondly, a Bahai really is also a Muslim. So this shouldn't be necessary in the first place. Agreed, and I would go even further. A Baha'i is more...

Re: Fasting prayer query

When I say this prayer during the Fast, it feels like I'm saying something untrue. ... Won't it be inappropriate to say this prayer during the Golden Age? The only inappropriate thing, I believe, would be not to read those Blessed Words of Baha'u'llah. Baha'u'llah was not a mere man Who wrote a cer...

The fast isn't easy for any of us. Only got enough energy for to lift light dumbells, which really aren't worth lifting unless a...

I think (correct me if I'm wrong Majnun) that he's saying for us Baha'is, the Writings of Baha'u'llah are more recent and thus more spiritually relevant than the old Books. From: http://www.letusreason.org/Bahai7.htm This is one of the guys proofs that Baha'u'llah wasn't a prophet: Jesus did numerous miracles and healing’s of all kinds of diseases. Jn.20 says there are not enough books to write it all. Bah·'u'll·h has no written record of miracles, that I know of. So o...
