I swear i already posted this but anyways - I am reading 1001 Arabian nights and the Eternal Quest for God by Julio Savi (love his stuff) and i really want to get his other book about 7 and 4 valleys

Thanx, yeah its important that we know how to do this correctly but i've never actually heard of how people figure this out and wondered were people actually facing the right direction.

Although its not something to focus on as mentioned, numerology is definately interesting and i don't find it superstitious because numbers are significant (as long as you don't treat them with superstition). 2+3 = 5 Yep I can do maths too

Can anyone please tell me what does Beit ul-Moqaddas actually translate to in english? I know it is refering to the holy city of Jerusalem but what is the word for word translation?

Direction of Qiblih
I was just wondering how to explain or figure out which direction to turn to say Obligatory prayers. That is, to turn towards the shrine of Baha'u'llah how do you know (where ever you are) which direction? I found one reference that says to calculate the Baha'i qiblih, based on the great-circle path...
