Faith and Spiritual knowledge go hand in hand. Faith bestows a new consciousness. The Word of God and spiritual traditions are not simply a compendium of intellectual exercises where one connects the dots between two facts. They create a dynamic tension in the soul where a yearning for the Source of...

In this He meant to emphasize the greatness of the Revelation to come, as it hath indeed been manifested through the power of truth. And there is of a certainty no paradise greater than this, nor station hig...

richard, great points. I agree that spirituality cannot be totally defined as set points put together in a mathematical equation for a spiritual result. and that excessive focus on theological arguments can have a tendency to stifle the living and organic nature of spiritual growth. I believe we as ...

The essence of Jesus' words and Baha'u'llah's words are the same. So there is no better one. What is different is our capacity and maturity to receive God's guidance. God out of his Mercy has chosen to Manifest himself to men. Through our guidance from Messengers like Jesus coupled with our trial an...

" the wayfarer cometh to the Valley of Unity and drinketh from the cup of the Absolute, and gazeth on the Manifestations of Oneness. In this station he pierceth the veils of plurality, fleeth from the worlds of the flesh, and ascendeth into the heaven of singleness. With the ear of God he heare...

Likewise the divine religions of the holy Manifestations of God are in reality one though in name and nomenclature they differ. Man must be a lover of the light no matter from what day-spring it may appear. He must be a lover of the rose no matter in what soil it may be growing. (Abdu'l-Bahá, Founda...

I think biographies have a purpose of conveying certain realities, I would assume that a Bahai author would would voice criticism with the purpose of the book in mind. Bahais also have an obligation towards truthfulness and justice as well as tact, so they must learn to find a balance. Moojan Momen ...

I would say The Bab is a separate Prophet then Jesus Christ. Both the Bab and Baha'u'llah are new Prophets. All of them compare in many interesting ways, here is a highlight of some similarities between Jesus Christ and the Bab.(and one contrast) One was born in 1817 A.D. in ancient Persia while the...

The Bahai answer maybe yes to both questions. The prophecies are fufilled, but as richard pointed out the human form and individuality did not reincarnate. The return is referring to the return of the same spiritual qualities of Christ and Muhammad. http://reference.bahai.org/en/t/ab/SAQ/saq-33.html
