HYKL - Numerical value - Abjad

Allah’u’abha In The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, it is said in endnote 3 of paragraph 1.37 : [3] The word Haykal (Temple) is composed in Arabic of the four letters Ha', Ya', Kaf and Lam (HYKL). Asministrative authority

Dear friend (Guest), Abdu'l-Baha was true in saying he is only a man, Jesus Christ also was only a man, same for Muhammad and the Bàb and Baha'u'llah. If one don't look at religious scriptures with his spiritual eye, then it is clear he will miss 50 % means he will be in his veils and in fact he wil...

Those appointed by God the All Mighty

Seeker, Allah'u'abha, It's true we don't have to exalt men over ourselves. So Baha'u'llah is the prophet of God the Most Exalted (= God the Glorious, more than a man). He appointed Abdu'l-baha (who then becomes more than a man). Abdu'l-Baha appointed Shoggi Effendi (who then becomes more than a man)...

so...we have something indicating monarchy and something indicating democracy. I don't agree that democracy means power to the people. In fact the democraties we see today are just other types of oligarchy (just look around the world, in every "democraty" the rulers are generally coming from the sa...

The Ruler of Tà announced in the Kitab'i'Aqdas

In the Kitab'i'Aqdas verse 91, Baha'u'llah says : 91 Let nothing grieve thee, O Land of Tá [Tihrán], for God hath chosen thee to be the source of the joy of all mankind. He shall, if it be His Will, bless thy throne with one who will rule with justice, who will gather together the flock of God which...

Can we change terms of a revealed prayer ?

Hello, I've always think that we could take a revealed prayer and change some words in it to adapt it to a particular situation. For example I thuoght we could, change a pronoun like "he" by "she" or a pronoun by a name while saying a prayer. But yesterday some friends told that, according to the Gu...

The story of the martyrdom of the Bàb

:?: I have a question in my head from the readings on this site. In the pilgrims note "The Light of the World, by George Orr Latimer" p.69 "the war", it is written : Mr. Latimer: "Was the Bábí, Aga Muhammad-‘Alí, who was martyred with the Báb, killed with the first volley or the second?" ‘ Abdu'l-Ba...

A bahai point of view on non bahai points of vue

Hello

I want to say just few words.

Me too I thought I was a "good christian".

On december 2003 I read the Kitab'i'Aqdas.

Since that I know Baha'u'llah is God.

He is the one who does what He wants.

The beginning of everything is Him. The end of all things is Him.

Good day.
