If you are into writing, why not try some home-based editing/writing job? Or you can start blogging and generate some profit from it... if not why not open a business and expose it through the web. It is possible.

What about "Ahimsa" or Non-violence and "Satyagraha" or resistance to tyranny through mass civil disobedience of Mahatma Gandhi? They are tool towards peace too.

I'm sorry, but I don't really believe in what he says... It is kind of disheartening to hear those...
