I believe years ago I read that Thornton Chase ? or another early american believer was trained as a hypnotist prior to finding the Faith. Can anyone shed any light on this or provide any relevant source (s) . thanks

greatest name

I have searched the Writings to try to find a definitive answer. The Guardian confirms that Alla'u'abha is a greeting but als...

Paid functions in the Faith

Do any Baha'is (e.g. universal house of justice members, NSA members) receive payment for their service ? if so do we know how much or what is the basis for payment ? un-translated writings

1) Have all the writings held at the BWC been read by scholars / Bahais or are their contents literally unknown and still lying in a big pile ? 2) Who decides what is next to be translated and made known to the Baha'i world and what is the basis for that ? 3) Could the un-translated writings contain...

Darwin loss of faith

I read that Charles DARWIN lost his Christian faith partly as a result of learning about the ichoumonidae wasp, whose eggs are laid in a live host caterpillar, and then hatch and eat the host alive. Apparently he could not accept a God that could invent something so cruel. Are such issues addressed ...
