The proximity of the Revelations of the Bab and Baha'u'llah was prophecied in the Bible. `Abdu'l-Baha explains in Some Answered questions, page 56 that the "Second Woe" promised in the Revelation of John was the Bab, and the Third Woe was Baha'u'llah. The short duration between them was promised in...

actually, thats kinda what I meant with "something wrong" not a mental disease, but having a difficult time telling right from wrong. Also, most of the games I own are non-violent like mario or simply like an interactive fairy tale such as zelda or the fightings for a good cause. or it's a MMORPG. o...

Thats interesting, because i've seen studies that have shown that violent games actually stop people from doing crime because they can do it in the game and not in real life, but I don't really think it affects you unless there's already something wrong, because the crime rate has been going steadil...

LOL. Nice topic.... I think we could learn much more playing games than studying!!! However, games are of secondary importance… if games like Age of Empires or others were stricter and detailed in history (or whatever culture or science they impart), it will be a funny way to learn. We have also re...

No, most christians I know, including Baptists, Evangelicals, Catholics, and that Speaking-in-tongues crowd, all believe in 'salvation", though some might believe heaven has "levels" as well, clouding the issue. Baptists, Evangelists and the like are protestant. I'm not really from a christian back...

Baha'i stance on video games?
Could someone give me a run though? I'm a fan of video games, not things like halo or GTA, but things like civilization or mario.

Re: Mecca / Medina : Baha'i Rights
Ok, I find that somewhat hopeful. And with Iran recognizing Israel we seem to be making progress in SOME area. It is just a longing to visit those history places marked by the Messengers. Or to put it directly... I want to go... I want to go... I want to go... I want to go... I want to go... I want...

The significance of 19 is foretold in the Qur'an!
http://submission.info/quran/appendices/appendix1.html Any reader of this book can easily verify the Quran's mathematical miracle. The word “God” (Allah) is written in bold capital letters throughout the text. The cumulative frequency of occurrence of the word “God” is noted at the bottom of each pa...

Living in Arab countries
As far as I know Baha'is are allowed in arab countries. I'm almost 100% sure the United arab emirates are baha'i friendly, since they even have a hindu temple in dubayy. sounds pretty open.

Will the world end tomorrow?
ok ,don't believe tihs anymore, but still up for debate. eon8. I think it's trying to tell us the world will end tomorrow. if you look it has a reference to a passage in revelations talking about the end of the world. EON8 is said to be the apocalypse. When you get to EON8 from a unverified site on ...

Why were Baha'u'llah and The Bab so close together?
I've been trying to figure out why Baha'u'llah was actually OLDER then the previous Manifestation, The Bab. I came up with two possible reasons.
* some massive shift in how society works in the years from 1844 to 1863.
*The Bab's mission was unfinished.
Someone please help!

Then I think i'll just leave that alone... too complex... even the UHJ has left it alone. I'm not going to risk independent interpetation.

Well i'm not even sure if thats what he really said? after all, for 300 years the word of christ was illegal, and for 1300 + years after that we have the void of order of the dark ages, the stagnation of the middle ages, and various tweaking of the bible to conform to whomever's teachings before the...

Interested in becoming a baha'i, first a few questions.
Hi, I am very interested in this religion, I have speant years of soul searching and this seems right, I just need some extra questions answered. 1. What are all the Manifestations of god? (i'll just say M.O.G.)? I know of Joseph, Noah, Hud, Salih, the founder of the "religions of the Sabeans", Kris...
