The concept of atonement in the Baha'i Writings

I thought you all might find this of interest: an analysis of the crucifixion of Jesus and other examples of divine sacrifice as a means to atonement. It was written by Dr. Susan Maneck:

I think this is a fabulous beginning to some intellectual bridge-building between the Baha'i and Christian perspectives on who Christ was and why He came.

Good find!

A search http://bahai-library.com/search/?q=atonement turned up a couple other things, e.g. two articles by Robert Stockman and also this: http://bahai-library.com/woodlock_dying_our_sins

And here's Susan's intro to rapprochement with Islam: http://bahai-islam.blogspot.ca
