Hi...
Is there an official Baha'i opinion on the Kaaba, the Holy Shrine in Mecca? Does Baha'u'llah or Abdul Baha ever mention it?
Mecca
I guess it depends by what you mean by official opinion...Do you mean as to its history?
The Báb visited it on His pilgrimage, the Bahá'í Writings refer to it a number of times as the "celestial Kaaba"....
There is a pilgrim's note of Shoghi Effendi suggesting that Bahá'ís should visit the former Holy Places on their pilgrimage to the Holy Land (presumably the Christian and Jewish ones) as well since we love these former Manifestations of God, but it seems the Kaaba is not at present open to non-Muslims.
