Jesus/Christ/Jesus Christ? Whats the correct term?

Postby BritishBahai » Sun Aug 10, 2008 7:00 am

Personally, I use these terms interchangeably: Jesus, Christ, or Jesus Christ.

(1) Does anyone know what is the correct way of referring to Him?

(2) Is it okay to refer to Him by just saying "Jesus" ?
I know it sounds like a pertinant question, but for example, someone was telling me that in Persian its rude to just say "Bahaullah" ... you have to say "Hazrateh Bahaullah"

Danke shon :)

Hi,

Jesus was his name, (Jesus of Nazareth).

Christ was his title like Baha'u'llah was named Mirza Hussein Ali Nuri.

Jesus is just happy to be remembered by this creation no matter what you call him.

In truth every Name that describes a goodly attribute of God is a Name of Christ.

Love,
Justice
