Crowd-sourcing of the week?

Postby brettz9 » Wed Apr 29, 2009 12:10 am

Howdy all,

I wanted to offer the chance for you to get a taste for the power of wiki and also render a service to the online teaching community in the process...

We have most of the Writings cross-referenced to newer copies (and sometimes vice versa) and those we do have should be described or linked to at the appropriate subpages of . This is for the sake of those who wish to ensure that in their online deepening or teaching, they have the latest translation of a text available.

One book which we have more work to do on is, cross-referencing Tablets of Abdul-Baha Abbas to more recent copies, such as to "Selections from the Writings of 'Abdu'l-Baha" or "Baha'i Prayers".

It would be most appreciated if anyone could try to find, even just one or two, more recent cross-references that we are missing (picking a random one is probably safer to ensure you don't choose the same one as someone else). You might find the cross-reference by searching our site and/or opening up the books in which you may expect the cross-reference to be found.

Any takers? See Tablets of 'Abdu'l-Bahá at the wiki.

Note that the work at the site expects contributions to be shared under an open source license, so the content you or anyone contributes to really effectively belongs to anyone who wants to use it (with attribution and share-alike requirements)--so you are not just doing work for us! So how about it?

best wishes,
