Conflict resolution within groups.

Postby Dame » Fri Jan 08, 2010 10:42 pm

Conflict theory has it that unresolved internal conflicts within any group can be managed without fragmenting the group (therefore internally unifying) by focusing on real or imagined conflict with persons and/or groups external to the group with the unresolved internal conflicts.

In the current day this may be the source of much of the senseless conflict we witness and the endless political spin attached to it.

Truth fullness and trustworthiness are the antidotes; based on a continuum of power is the opposite of trust. This is an assertive and non-violent confrontation of the perspective that weakness is the opposite of power.

"Spiritual and materialistic conceptions of the nature of reality are irreconcilable with one another and lead in opposite directions."
