Speaker to discuss Baha'i, Inuit teachings

Canadian Inuit Elder William Ekomiak will speak at 6 p.m. today at the Baha'i Center, 166 Sunset Drive in Charleston. Born and raised in Quebec, he has traveled and taught extensively on the North American continent. He is also an accomplished entertainer, stone carver, storyteller and fiddler.

He has a keen interest in the Hopi prophesies, and has prepared a manuscript of his understanding of the Baha'i and Inuit ancestral teachings.
