United in prayer

The Week Of Prayer For World Peace, which ends on Sunday, has involved members of six faiths in Wellington. At St Andrew's On The Terrace, an interfaith meeting was held on Monday at which Baha'is, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jews and Muslims shared prayers and thoughts for peace from their own writings. Established in 1974, the prayer week is observed worldwide.
