End to religious prejudice sought

The Baha'i Faith has appealed in a statement to the leaders of other religions for an end to religious prejudice. The faith's governing council said that while progress was being made in overcoming prejudices of race, gender and nationality, religion was falling behind in eliminating its prejudice. As well overcoming sectarian attitudes, religion needed to be more open to science, it said.
