Baha'u'llah writes:

"Know thou that every created thing is a sign of the revelation of God. Each, according to its capacity, is, and will ever remain, a token of the Almighty..." (Gleanings XCII)

He clarifies this statement:

"Let no one imagine that by Our assertion that all created things are the signs of the revelation of God is meant that - God forbid - all men, be they good or evil, pious or infidel, are equal in the sight of God...." (Gleanings XCIII)

So, as you point out, may well be true that some great literary works that have withstood the test of time may well be considered to be inspired works, and in that sense a revelation from God within the sphere of their own station and rank. However, the revealed Word of God through the Manifestions of God is unique in this regard and has a vastly greater influnce.

Baha'u'llah writes:
"He is really a believer in the Unity of God who recognizeth in each and every created thing the sign of the revelation of Him Who is the Eternal Truth, and not he who maintaineth that the creature is indistinguishable from the creator." (Gleanings , XCIII)

"Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is a direct evidence of the revelation within it of the attributes and names of God.....To a supreme degree this is true man, who, among all created things, hath been invested with the robe of such gifts.... to a degree that no other created thing hath excelled or surpassed..... and of all men, the most accomplished, the most distinguished, and the most excellent are the Manifestations of the Sun of Truth. Nay, all else besides these Manifestations, live by the operation of their Will, and move and have their being through the outpourings of their grace." (Gleanings XC)
