`IRFAN COLLOQUIUM AND SEMINAR
AT LOUHELEN BAHA‚I SCHOOL

Mysticism and the Baha‚i Faith is the theme topic of the `Irfan Colloquium to be held at Louhelen Baha‚i School, 5-8 October 2001. The Seminar section of the program will be devoted to the Writings of Baha‚u‚llah during the latter part of the Akka period.

The program includes presentation of research papers on fundamental principles of the Baha‚i belief system and detailed introduction of the background and contents of some of the important Writings of Baha‚u‚llah as well as various Tablets of visitation, healing prayers and special Tablets and prayers for Baha‚i holy days.

There will be two parallel sessions, one in English and one in Persian. This gathering at Louhelen provides a very special spiritual experience for deepening and immersing "in the ocean" of the sacred Writings. Participants will receive copies of the Irfan publications.

It will also be an opportunity for the students and alumni of the Wilmette Institute to meet with each other and with some of the faculty members in academic atmosphere. Proposals for paper presentation are welcome and must be received at the Education and Schools Office of the Baha‚i National Center before the end of August 30, 2001. For registration and reservation please directly contact Louhelen Baha‚i School.
