There are many references about chastity in the Lights of Guidance, which is a worthwhile resource. One letter states that many youth have asked for specific and precise guidelines on what they can and cannot do. The response is that to provide graphic, precise guidance would not be appropriate, and youth need to use their discretion, reflecting on the teachings and principles of the Faith. That's a poor paraphrase, so it would really be worthwhile to get this book and look up 'chastity' and related topics. It sounds like you're conduct is very mature and healthy. It's you people who are setting the examples to others and the world on how Baha'i teachings will be lived out. You can't always go to a book and find out the precise action required in every situation. Fanatics and fundamentalists might do that, but ultimately it's not healthy. I'm very impressed that you're conducting yourself so well. And you're fortunate, I think, to have found a partner who shares the same commitment to moral principles as you do. I was never so fortunate as to find someone who would go along with those teachings, and by the time I realized moral rigidity made no sense if it meant I would likely be alone for the rest of my life, it was too late. Anyway, I applaud your integrity.
