Thanks, Loren! Couple small additions.

1) There is a Persian/Arabic version of Gleanings. I'd look up the date and publisher, but my copy is in storage. I don't know the history of it, whether Shoghi Effendi kept a version in the original languages before translating it, or whether it was more recently re-assembled using the English as a source. Anyone know?

2) I see you tried to use Arabic characters which didn't turn out, but don't know how you tried. It doesn't look like Unicode, how'd you type it? I ask because it is possible to embed Unicode in these bulletin board postings, but needs a bit of editing. When you write a code like ‧ the bulletin board script translates & into & resulting in ‧ which of course doesn't work. BUT you can go ahead and use special character codes, and after you post I'll just go through and, from the back-end, turn & back to plain old &. Make sense?

BTW, I had to edit this post after posting it to do exactly the same thing.
