: I am doing a video documentary of the history of the Baha'i Faith
: as it parallels the histories of the adventist and pietist movements
: in Christianity. The focus is on the Millerites and the German Templers.

: In the interest of historical accuracy I am trying to determine if there
: was an actual document dated March 21, 1844 which could be identified as
: the Edict of Toleration. I have seen this topic discussed before, but
: the discussion was inconclusive.

: I am aware of the "Tanzimat" reforms initiated by Abdu'l Mecid I and pursued
: between 1839 and 1876, but an unable to identify an 1844 document.

: Can anyone steer me to some sources on this question?

: Thanks for your help.

I too am looking for this document for my Christian Teaching course...if anyone kknows how to find it/or has found it, I would very much appreciate this news. Thankyou
