1. Text (see image below)

Hotel Tiberias, Tiberias, Syria, Prop. R. Grossmann
Telegr. Address: Grossmann-Tiberias

Translation--9--Tablet

To the believers of God and the maid servants of The Merciful.

Portland Oregon

Upon them be Baha-ollah El Abha!

He is God!

O ye assembly of the Baha’is!

Your letter expressed eloquently your ultimate hope and aspiration: for you are resolved to become the spreaders of the Divine Lights and quicken the souls through the Breaths of the Holy Spirit. Because this aim is heavenly, merciful, and godlike, unquestionably it will display most great effect and will assist you in the service of the Kingdom of God. Rest ye assured in the Favor and Bounty of His Holiness Baha-ollah; for His Grace is like unto the vernal showers and His Confirmation, the cohorts of heaven.

Upon ye be Baha El Abha!
    (signed) Abdu’l Baha Abbas
