abstract noteThis article examines the Bahá’í conception of human nature and its impact on psychotherapeutic practice and Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (PPT after Nossrat Peseschkian). Central concepts, such as the oneness of humankind, human resources, and harmony between science and religion, are highlighted as the cornerstones of this young world religion, and their practical implementation is presented. The authors demonstrate that Bahá’í teachings enrich therapy by highlighting the inherent capacities of each person, which can be activated through education and self-development. This promotes a resource oriented, holistic therapeutic approach that extends beyond the treatment of psychological and mental disorders, thereby enhancing individual well-being. The article also emphasizes the importance of cultural sensitivity in therapy, supported by the Bahá’í principle of unity in diversity in an increasingly global society. Finally, the integration of spiritual and religious topics with scientific practice is presented as the key to effective and comprehensive healing processes that take into account both the material and spiritual aspects of life.
