abstract noteThis is an exploration of spiritual, psychological, and biological aspects of childhood resilience. It analyzes the positive role of hardship, which provides benefits by exposing the child to events requiring adaptation. This adaptation occurs physcially in the brain as well as spiritually. Exposure to hardship allows a child to learn flexibility.
