abstract note	After the original texts (Arabic, Persian), all currently known translations into English and German are listed. The variety of translations and the different annotations, explanations and footnotes in the individual editions give the reader a deeper insight into the meaning of each of these words than if he were to rely solely on the latest translation. In addition, the translations that exist in Bahá'í publications other than the Hidden Words are also cited. Further, publications are discussed and existential statements and questions & answers are reproduced. Finally, the most important metadata is given for the German translations. Almost the entire edition is bilingual.
