abstract noteDiscussion of the persecutions in Iran, with particular emphasis on the way in which the Islamic Revolutionary authorities provide a justification to the world based upon politics and treason, whereas the Islamic justification for the persecution is based on the belief that Baha'is are apostates. The fact that most Baha'is in Iran are not themselves converts is discussed.
