abstract note	Addresses the current educational imbalance within the prevalent worldview and curiculum of public universities. This imabalane partly stems from the dochotomy created by the worldviews of religious literalism and scientism. These two worldviews have a negative and counterproductive effect on the average student. The author proposes a holistic and spiritually fortified approach instead, followed by reflection on the spiritual and developmental relationships possible between a teacher and a student.
