Abstract	Attempts to separate "genuine" and "authentic" religious experience from "non-genuine" by questioning the sanity of the Báb and negatively psychoanalyzing His life from the perspective of something called "neurotheology." "Neurotheology" is a neologism that describes the scientific study of the neural correlates of religious or spiritual beliefs, experiences and practices. Other researchers prefer to use terms like "spiritual neuroscience" or "neuroscience of religion". Researchers in the field attempt to explain the neurological basis for religious experiences, which is done by experimental study on living subjects. The author therefore misuses the term here, given that it is not physically possible to experimentally investigate the mental activity of any of the Manifestations of God. Ziaee has clearly not read any fair-minded academic studies about the Báb and His teachings, nor has he studied the Báb's and Bahá'u'lláh's teachings. The author seems oblivious to the irony of accusing the Báb of psychosis, which mirrors the Christian world's accusations that Muḥammad was deranged or epileptic.
