| Abstract | Accounts of E. G. Browne's presentations about the Babis, Baha'is and, most significantly, Baha'u'llah at the April 15 and June 17, 1889 meetings of the Royal Asiatic Society, including lists of those who participated in the discussions that followed. The notes of the June 17 meeting include lengthy responses to Browne's work from Dr. Leitner (invited by the renowned Sir Frederic Goldsmid) and Mr. H. C. Kay [Henry Cassels Kay, MA "Arabist"]. Both meetings were chaired by Sir Thomas Wade, K.C.B., K.C.M.G. |
