They point to our Lord's statements that He will come again, and they say, 'Christ returns as Behâ, with angels, with clouds, and with the sound of trumpets. Behâ died in 1892, but the new religion still gains ground, and is of great importance from the missionary point of view. There are in all probability not less than 800,000 Bâbis (or Behâis) in Persia to-day belonging to all ranks and classes in the country." "This movement had not only weakened Muhammadanism in Persia, but the followers of the Bâb and Behâ are friendly to Christians, accept our Scriptures as the Word of God, admit the Divinity of Christ, long for religious liberty, and seem to be in many ways helping to prepare the way of the Lord.
