Abstract	Biased description Bahá'í history and teachings. Particualrly focused on the "impotency of Bahaism to fulfill its ambitious scheme": (1) the measure of success already gained promises no extraordinary advance; (2) the antecedents of Bahaism [e.g. Islam] must operate as the reverse of a credential in the sight of a great part of the religious world; (3) Bahaism has no sacred oracles fitted to compete with the Christian scriptures; (4) the personalities placed at the front by Bahaism lack the needful power of appeal; (5) the good points in Bahaism are largely negatived by association with highflying and incredible assumptions of authority; (6) the Bahai code must repel, in part by its inferior level, and in part by its artificialities; (7) the license which Bahaism grants to its adherents to march under false banners is far from being a recommendation. Many of the accusations are based upon misquotations from enemies, and sources that are poorly understood by the author.
