Abstract Definite Signs of This Age Closing: The Turbulent World Conditions – Mohammedanism and Bahaism from the Man of the Flesh – Many of the prophecies of Antichrist were once fulfilled. By “A Business Man” (1925). Frontispiece of King Feisal with his pet panther. “The coming of a great world leader must be very near for a popular author has made the following statement: I have reports from agents everywhere – peddlers in south Russia, Afghan horse dealers, Turcoman merchants, pilgrims on the road to Mecca, Sheiks in Northern Africa, sailors on the Black Sea coasters, sheep-skinned Mongols, Hindu fakirs, Greek traders in the Gulf, as well as respectable consuls – they tell me the same story. The East is waiting for a revelation. It has been promised one. Some Starman prophecy is coming.”
“In the shadows of Mount Carmel, where Elijah brought fire down out of heaven even as will the False Prophet and looking out over the plains of Armageddon dwells Abdul Baha, the aged Bahaist prophet. And we wonder, will he become the False Prophet of Rev. 13:111-17 and 19:20? For years he has proclaimed the coming of a “Great Master” and has set forth the following Nine Qualifications by which he may be recognized.”
The author lists the nine qualifications from the small number 9 Baha’i booklets and asks “Are these not the characteristics of the Man of Sin?”
“Rosita Forbes, the noted English traveler says: It was King Feisal who send me down to Haifa to see old Abdul Baha. 'He is the wisest man I know said the Emir. When you are tired of the cleverness of my young naturalist, go and drink wisdom under the shadow of Mount Carmel.'
So I went one day when the scarlet anemones were ablaze beneath the olive trees….. I ask his (Abdul Baha’s) opinion of the future, and he pushed his turban back till the skull cap showed beneath. The King Feisal treads a hard road, he said. But it is the right one, for it is founded on sacrifice.”
“That the accomplishment of Satan’s plan is rapidly approaching a crisis seems evident from the Bahai literature, for they also claim the Bible prophecies are now being literally fulfilled. On page fort-four of their booklet “THE DAWN OF KNOWLEDGE AND THE MOST GREAT PEACE” the author, Paul K. Dealy, states that God’s laws and ordinances in governing the nations will soon prevail, thus ushering in “The Most Great Peace” and he quotes the following verses:
“Nations shall not lift up the sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more, but they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree.”
“Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days”- which (as we have seen by our chart) is the year 1917. And they claim their message to be the “GLAD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY.”
“In the light of these facts, is it strange therefore that in this identical year 1917, when King Feisal made his triumphal entry into Damascus, the multitudes hailed him with the shout. “The peace of Feisal has come?”
“And again we wonder: Is King Feisal the Great Master whom the Bahai are awaiting, but that the time for his manifestation has not yet come?”
“It is reported that Abdul Baha has died. If this be true then it does not seem probable that he will become the false prophet UNLESS Satan should also imitate the events connected with the resurrection of our Lord”.
