| abstract | Baha’i Faith: pp. 1, 45, 64 note lv, 66, 76 note lxx, 81-83, 95, 126-128 (interview with Elaine Lathrop). The section on “The Bahai Tradition” is good in tone, but makes a number of errors. It consistently gives Baha’u’llah’s given name as Mirza Husayn Ali Buri rather than the correct Nuri and refers to him in shorthand as Ali Buri. The author of this section, Peter Park, states in error that the Baha’i Faith started with no formal prayers or rituals, but that prayer, fasting, Feast and holy days have since become established and obligatory. |
