Abstract	After introducing the history and basic principles of the Bahá'í Faith, the author analyzes the ethics of this fairly young religion. The author utilizes the theories of Little & Twiss, and of Lowisch, about moral and religious action guide to show the nature of Bahá'í ethics. Bahá'í ethics show eschatological traits, becuase the life of each Bahá'í and his/her actions are directed towards the eschatological goal of world unity. Because the goal and what is helpful to reach it are given by God, Bahá'í ethics are deontological. They can be characterized as theocentric and theonomous in their reasoning. The divinely ordained tool called "consultation" helps to determine the right action in cases whee no clear answers can be found in the vast body of Bahá'í writings.
