| Abstract | Worldviews figure in a culture's notions of what is healthy. Social structure functions in defining pychological and disease. This study clarifies elements of western theories of psychological development from the perspective of unity in diversity. Theories of Erikson and Wilber are criticized, and newly-emerging theories from women's studies, diversity and consciousness studies, are reviewed for unity in diversity principles. |
