Abstract ""Most of my school papers bore the female name; to put it more bluntly, I had no CV, or let's say I had one -- a quite good but an irrelevant one... It took me quite some time to find a job. I worked part-time with Baha'i friends at the Gallery Cafe for some time as I looked around for something more permanent. These Baha'i friends, especially Karyn Wilson, now Mrs. Adam Robarts, Sylvia Walters and Margaret are people whose love I can never forget. They were like a ray of light in the middle of a dark night, and it was in this place that I slowly began to fully accept myself and get confident."
