abstract	The life of a young man from a conservative religious family who leaves his village and establishes himself in Tehran where he discovers the progressive political and religious currents of the time, such as the communist party and the Bahá'í Faith, and who adheres to this new religion, is enveloped in a whirlwind of successive events and, with a soul refined by fire, engages in the life of a pioneer far from his native land. He there remarkable service to the end of his life, and he chooses the soil of his new homeland in which to deposit his mortal remains and take his flight toward his celestial Beloved. The history of his life is that of hundreds and thousands of others of his generation and of his parents who made innumerable sacrifices, suffered numerous exils, underwent imprisonments, or gave their last breath in the path of service to a Cause which they cherished above all else.
