| Abstract | This study examined ownership of religious texts within the Associated College Libraries of Central Pennsylvania (ACLCP). Sacred texts from several religions were included, among them the Kitab-i-Aqdas by Bahá'u'lláh. The authors searched the ACLCP union catalog for ownership of these texts in English and the original languages. Most of the texts in English were owned by several of the libraries in the system. Texts in the original languages were generally not owned. The growing religious diversity of library users has made ownership of a diversity of religious texts more important. |
