abstract	A collection of mostly unpublished material, a special gift from the "Alessandro Bausani" Association for Bahá'í Studies to the Italian community. This title allows us to know 'Abdu'l-Bahá from another perspective. His example of life is current and inspiring for all and His language is universal and probes aspects of human existence in perfect balance between spirit and matter. The book leads the reader to discover the Master's poetics through ten compositions by Him, helping the reader reflect on the profound meaning. He also builds a bridge with the millenarian oriental culture. With mystics, poets and thinkers who have constituted a certain horizon of reference for 'Abdu'l-Bahá, Whose literary production demonstrates such a mastery as to induce Bausani himself - one of the most authoritative scholars of Iranian civilization - to define him as an "undisputed master of Persian prose". The volume lets the harmony of the Master's words breathe and welcomes the reader with the elegance of His handwriting. It opens, in fact, with four Tablets written by 'Abdu'l-Bahá before his passing. These Tablets, kept in the archives of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Italy, offer an insight into the bond that united the Master to Italy and its first believers, outlined with interesting biographical notes.
