| Abstract | The Ruhi Institute curriculum originated as an ongoing process of education, collaborative in nature, aimed to develop the resources of the Colombian people. The courses within this curriculum attempt to focus on the cultural, social, and spiritual arenas of those who voluntarily participate in its program. Subsequently, this curriculum has found its way into many nations, including the United States. A qualitative study of this curriculum based on narrative histories through personal interview of participants who have completed one or more of the courses found within the curriculum served as the format for this research. The Ruhi Institute has directed its efforts and strategies "within a special framework and a philosophy of social change, development, and education" based on the direct application of principles promulgated by the Bahá'í Faith. |
