Abstract Study of Iranian Baha'i' women who experienced impsionment in the Islamic Republic of Iran following the 1979 revolution. Explores aspects of individual resistance and resilience through life history interviews. Examination of these interviews shows how principles of the Baha;i Faith have been enacted in the context of the Iranian persecution of the Baha'is.
