| Abstract | An analysis of the content, terminology and form of the Qayyum al-Asma, an early Babi writing proves that the Bab proclaimed his teaching as an independent divine revelation, while his Faith right from its inception emerged as an independent religious system with regard to Islam. The author presents multiple arguments from the book (represented in the collection of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts by two manuscripts) to support this thesis. |
