| Abstract | In Iranian modern history the Babi movement is an influential reformation. Although the movement is defeated and comes to an end, it lays the foundation for the development and innovation for the Baha'i Faith which emerged later. From a religious heritage point of view there would be no Baha'i Faith without the Babi movement. In-depth study, objective and fair assessment of the Babi movement lays the the foundation for a correct understanding of and interpretation of the Baha'i Faith and its prehistory. This paper focuses on the Bab's thought from three levels of analysis. |
