Abstract	In 1863, Bahá'u'lláh proclaimed that He was the promised one of all the ages through whose revelation of the world a new, progressive spirit was breathed, which will enable mankind to contribute to the construction of a new world. Through His teachings, the "Kingdom of God on earth" should be established and the "Golden Age" realized. The Universal House of Justice already foreseen by Bahá'u'lláh in His Most Holy Book, the Kitáb-i-Aqdas, today leads the world's Bahá'í communities, seeking to promote Bahá'u'lláh's vision. The present work vividly outlines the inseparable connection between the spirit of the Heroic Age and service in the Formative Age of Bahá'í Revelation.
