| Abstract | Applying a framework for understanding the creative process generally, this essay explores the notion that the universe is coded to be creative. The view is offered that the universal system exists in a perpetually poised, generative, dynamic state and that creativity is the fundamental reality of the universe. Utilizing the concept of “covenant” as a metaphor for the governance structure of the universal generative dynamic, the author investigates the unique role of consciousness in the creative process. |
