Abstract	This article takes up issues related to understanding sacrifice in Bahá’í Faith. Starting from theology and teleology of sacrifice, going through threads spiritual effects for the person placing the sacrifice, there are some considered examples of self-sacrifice in the narrative of God’s Messengers. It is given the classification levels of sacrifice, along with the meaning of sacrifice at each of these levels. As a summary of the claim there are final conclusions.
