Abstract	This volume book brings together letters, unpublished documents, images and important facts about the story of Martha Root. She, in 1919, rose in answer to the call of 'Abdu'l-Bahá and advanced alone towards South America, as "the herald of the Kingdom and the herald of His Covenant", sowing the first seeds and heralding the Bahá'í Cause to all the peoples of the continent. Today, after the first century of that journey, writer Gabriel Marques brings together the stories of dozens of characters and their relationships with Martha Root to whom she presented the Cause, or who in some way contributed to her tireless efforts to teach and promote the teachings of the new Divine Manifestation.
