Abstract A young couple met and married in Alaska in 1970. Soon finding that life together was no "bed of roses," they struggled to face personal challenges that nearly tore them apart, but somehow they stuck it through.
Like many others of that era, Todd and Gerry cared passionately about the world and its countless challenges, believing a new and better way was soon to come. This new world would be built upon love, social justice and equality for all, and upon living in harmony with the environment. Their path eventually led them to find and embrace the Bahá'i Faith.
This is the story of their family and how the trajectory of its life was transformed by faith. It is a journey, both of the spirit and of this world, taking them to a life hundreds of kilometers north of the polar circle on the opposite side of the planet from where their journey began, to a life among Europe's indigenous people of the far north, the Sámi.
