Title of work 'Abdu’l-Bahá on the World Stage
Author Ghanooni, Iraj

Abstract Contrasts the spiritual purpose of 'Abdu'l-Bahá's first visit to Paris with the secular aims of his prominent Iranian contemporaries—such as ('Allámih) Muḥammad Qazvíní, Ḥasan Taqízádih, and Muḥammad-'Alí Furúghí—who traveled there roughly around the same time. The essay also highlights the novelty and genius of 'Abdu'l-Bahá's approach in appealing to the sensibilities of the Parisians at that time and inviting them to expand their materialistic horizons to include spiritual ideals.
Notes Translated by Naeem Nabiliakbar and Adib Masumian.
